How Do I Apply?

Applying for the Sweden J-Term Study Tour is simple—just follow these steps, and you’ll be on your way to an incredible adventure!

Step 1: Fill Out the Application

Complete the official application form to get started. Spaces are limited, so don’t wait too long! (The application is at the bottom of the page)

Step 2: Sign Up for an In-Person Interview

After submitting your application, the next step is to sign up for a short in-person interview. (After I receive your application, I will send you an email to sign up for the interview) This is a great chance to ask questions, learn more about the trip, and ensure it's the right fit for you. Since space is limited to 18 students, and more applicants are expected, the interview process helps determine final selections for the trip.

If you are accepted:

Step 3: Pay Your Deposit

If you are accepted, a $900 deposit is required to secure your spot. This is due by May 1, 2025. The remaining balance is due by October 1, 2025.

Step 4: Attend Pre-Trip Meetings

We’ll hold a few pre-departure meetings to go over travel details, packing tips, and what to expect in Sweden. These sessions are a great way to meet your fellow travelers and get excited for the journey!

Step 5: J-Term Kickoff on Campus

Once the J-Term semester starts, we’ll meet on campus for about a week before heading to Sweden. During these classes, we’ll learn all about Sweden, Gothenburg, the companies we’ll visit, and their unique cultures. This prep work will help you get the most out of the experience! Then, we’ll fly to Gothenburg for two unforgettable weeks of learning, exploration, and adventure.
